moreback is built to hold as little of your data as possible.

how matching works

when you shop at a partner brand, the brand tells us an order happened using a one-way hash of your email. we match that hash to your account. orders that don't match anyone are never stored — we only keep a daily count.

what we store

your account, the circles you've joined, and the matched orders behind your cashback. raw webhook payloads are purged after 30 days.

we set only the cookies needed to keep you signed in — no advertising or tracking cookies. see PRIVACY_NOTES.md in the repo for the full audit.
